Mineral etching removed from a black car's hood.
A Lake Geneva client parks in a downtown Chicago garage, and mineral water dripping from the ceiling had etched into her black car's hood and front bumper. A wash can't fix that. We drove to Lake Geneva to pick the car up so she could enjoy her summer.
We did a full hand wash, an acid wash to lift the deposits, and a single-step machine polish to remove the etched clear coat. Then we heat-cycled the hood three times with our infrared system to force any hidden minerals to the surface, so we knew the etching was gone and not just hidden. She got back a clean black finish with a fresh coat of paint sealant.

Is it worth crossing the state line?
A coating is one trip that lasts for years. It's also warrantied and reported to CARFAX, so the record follows the car.
Can you coat my summer car before it goes into storage?
Yes. Fall is a great time. It goes into storage protected and comes out in spring ready to go.
Can you fix water spots or mineral etching?
Usually. Light spots come off with a decontamination wash. Etching that's gone into the clear coat needs machine polishing. We'll tell you which one you're dealing with.
How long will my detail take?
Most details are done the same day, except ceramic coatings. Most details take 3 to 5 hours, and you’ll be notified once we’re done.
Do you offer pick-up and delivery?
Yes. With our valet service, we come to your home or office, leave our own car parked there (it’s not a loaner), and drive your car to our shop. We’re fully insured. Once your detail is done, we bring your car back and pick ours up, so you never have to leave your home or office. You get the convenience of a mobile detailer with the quality of a full shop detail.
